“Working with Brooke in all seriousness took my game to the next level. Coming out of my first year of juniors I struggled quite a bit and speed and edges was my main problem. I came to Brooke for help and I was very committed to getting better and drove an hour every Friday morning to do power skating down at the Burnsville rink. Brooke would push me every single time we were out there and kept my cardio up at all times.
From the tight turns, to the work on my toes, to the sprints with the parachute, all helped me improve my speed and my overall game over one summer. Nothing is fixed overnight but working with Brooke for a full summer allowed me to step onto the ice for my second year with confidence and have the ability and legs to get myself in the right areas in order to score and have success. I went back to juniors for my second year and had the most points I’ve ever had! I thank Brooke for it all!”

My son has been working with Brooke this summer, and she’s nothing short of amazing both with the kids and her techniques. Her drills are exactly what we were looking for; many people don’t realize the importance of edge work and power skating, and Brooke breaks down every drill with precision. My son absolutely loves her lessons and has greatly improved as a skater. I highly recommend Brooke if you’re looking to take your child’s skating to the next level.

Coach White-Lancette is, without question, the best skills development coach I have encountered in Minnesota. Over the years, my daughter has always trained with some of the best coaches I could possibly find because I strongly believe that mastering the fundamentals is the foundation of long-term success. She learned skating from a world-class figure skater who represented South Korea internationally and sharpened her stickhandling under a former Soviet national team player who once competed against legends like Igor Larionov and Sergei Fedorov. I know when a coach is the real deal.
I do not believe in coaches who cannot skate or stickhandle at a high level themselves. Coach White-Lancette is an incredibly strong skater; her edge control is the best I have ever seen among former hockey players. She knows exactly which direction my daughter’s toe should be pointing when doing crossovers/cross-unders. Even after retirement, she can still outskate many current Division I players.
That’s how I know she understands exactly what it takes to become a great hockey player. She’s seen it, lived it, and done it herself. I feel incredibly fortunate that we met Coach White-Lancette here in Minnesota.

I have been trying to figure how to work the feeling as a parent when you see the joy on your kids and hear them talk about what they have learned after skating with you and the excitement they have…
Our kids have had the opportunity to train with Brooke in both small group and individual settings. Brooke brings a wealth of knowledge and keen ability to teach and motivate players of all levels in a competitive and positive environment. The energy she brings to every session is transferred to the kids, as is her love for the game. We have seen major growth and development in our kids in terms of their hockey skills, ability to read the game, and their confidence both on and off the ice!

Brooke has coached three of our kids. She and her coaching style has, without a doubt, had the greatest impact on improving our kids’ stride, speed, and overall game play. Brooke uses her positive attitude and high energy to push the kids more than any other coach we’ve had. Her sessions are well thought out, rigorous, and dynamic. Each session seems to seamlessly incorporate skating, shooting, stick handling, and a high compete level. She’s the best

Brooke has been nothing short of transformational for our son, Benjy — both on and off the ice. She is, without question, the premier skating and skills coach in Minnesota. What truly distinguishes her is her thoughtful, balanced approach to athlete development. Brooke has a rare ability to connect with her athletes, combining unwavering support with high expectations, creating an environment where athletes feel both safe and driven to excel. Under her guidance, Benjy became the best version of himself as a hockey player and person. He looked forward to every session with her. Brooke is elite in every sense of the word. We’re so grateful for the difference she made.

Parent of Katelyn (Breakaway Academy Student & Brooke White Hockey Small Group Participant)
Brooke White-Lancette has been so much more than a coach to my daughter, Katelyn—she’s been a mentor, a role model, and a source of inspiration. Katelyn started working with Brooke in 2nd grade at Breakaway Academy, and now as a 7th grader, I can honestly say Brooke has shaped not only her hockey skills but her confidence and love for the game.
Brooke has an incredible gift for teaching high-level hockey and skating techniques in a way that truly connects with her players. For the past two years, Katelyn has been part of an advanced small group through Brooke White Hockey, surrounded by some of the most talented girls her age. Brooke pushes them to be their best while making every session fun and empowering. She knows how to challenge athletes without overwhelming them, and she celebrates their progress in a way that makes them believe in themselves.
What stands out most is Brooke’s genuine care for her players. She invests in their growth on and off the ice, and that kind of dedication is rare. Katelyn looks up to Brooke not just as a coach, but as someone who shows what hard work, passion, and positivity can achieve. We feel incredibly lucky to have Brooke in Katelyn’s hockey journey, and I can’t thank her enough for the impact she’s had.

I would like to highlight Coach Brooke White! I honestly can say she is one of the best hockey instructors around. Her own hockey skating ability is phenomenal and the way she demonstrates and instructs is some of the best I have ever seen. I have three sons that play hockey (twins that are 12 and a 10 year old) and I contribute a lot of their skating explosiveness and edge work to working with Coach Brooke! They have worked with Coach Brooke one on one and in group settings and I have always been amazed on how much they improve when skating with her. Her overspeed training and edge work translates perfectly to games and will help your hockey player get to the next level of skating…. Guaranteed! I have coached hockey and instructed power skating myself for 20+ years and have learned a lot watching Coach Brooke in action on the ice! If your hockey player is looking to improve their skating stride, explosiveness, edge work or overall hockey IQ work with Coach Brooke White… you won’t be disappointed!
